Ecclesia United International and International Love Ministries Partner to Support Persecuted Kuki Community in Manipur

Logan Township, NJ – On September 7, 2024, Ecclesia United International met with Rev. Holkhosei (Sei) and Vunglamching (Ching) Touthang, founders of International Love Ministries, to discuss an important collaboration aimed at addressing the plight of persecuted Christians and the urgent needs of the marginalized Kuki community in Manipur, India. The meeting took place at Classy Cow, Logan Township, NJ.

The ongoing ethnic and religious violence in Manipur has displaced thousands, particularly affecting the Kuki community. In response, both organizations are committed to raising awareness of the persecution faced by these communities and providing critical aid such as food, education, and mental health support.

Ecclesia United was represented by President Bimal John, Vice Chairman Stanley George, Youth Mission Director Dr. Alvin Joseph, Advisory Board Member Paul Varkey, IT Coordinator Abin Thomas, and Treasurer Benny Mathew. Joining the discussion was Pastor Mark Haokip, a board member of International Love Ministries, underscoring the collaborative spirit between the two organizations.

This partnership aims to extend their outreach to those suffering from religious persecution while empowering Christian leaders and communities globally. Both groups emphasize the importance of advocacy, resource mobilization, and direct aid to provide tangible support to families and children affected by the ongoing conflict in Manipur.

In the wake of this meeting, Ecclesia United and International Love Ministries hope to inspire others to join their cause and amplify efforts to promote religious freedom, resilience, and healing among the world’s most vulnerable populations.
