Ecclesia United Donates Bibles and Supplies to Life Turning Point of Philadelphia Women and Children Transitional House

Ecclesia United International has extended a helping hand to Life Turning Point (LTP) of Philadelphia Women and Children Transitional House by donating Bibles and other essential supplies. The gesture was met with gratitude from Rita Whitaker, the Executive Director of the Transition house, who expressed her appreciation.

“We thank Ecclesia United International for your donation of children’s Bibles for the children at Life Turning Point of Philadelphia. As you saw during your tour, one of our moms already started reading to her child. We appreciate your visit and your willingness to take the time to learn about the ministry of LTP and your desire to bless our children.” Rita said.

Life Turning Point of Philadelphia offers an 18-month transitional housing program for homeless women and children. During their residency, mothers participate in various programs such as case management, counseling, classes, mentoring, tutoring, career coaching, and more. Notably, all services at LTP are Bible-based, utilizing the Bible as the primary textbook for teaching.

Due to the uncompromising Christian aspect of their program, LTP does not receive any government funding, relying solely on the generosity of the Christian community and others who believe in the transformative power of the Gospel. Ecclesia United International spearheaded the donation campaign, led by President Bimal John, USA Missions Director Nadine Hedgeman, and Operations Director Sophy John.

The collaboration between Ecclesia United and Life Turning Point highlights the importance of community support in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations and spreading the message of hope through faith-based initiatives
